any chances we will see a iOS 9.0.1 update next week? similar to last year when we saw 8.0.1 a week after the public release of iOS 8. or is 9.1 the next update with bug fixes, etc?

9.1 is already in Beta. I doubt we'll get a 9.0.1, as I recall 8.0.1 was because of an error that cropped up upon release.

I would imagine they added the 9.0.1 -stuff into the public release, seeing as how it was different from the GM-version distributed to developers.

Pure speculation on my part, of course. Time will tell.

We got 8.0.1 because it enabled HealthKit. Then it broke cellular connections was pulled and then 8.0.2

They work on 9.1 and have a list of things that go into 9.0.1 should a critical issue need to be applied right away. If nothing critical comes up, they'll prefer to wait for 9.1. Anything is possible.

9.1 could be in beta for some time, so certainly enough of a possibility that there might be a release (if not more than one) before 9.1 is released.

9.1 is not till November so thats why im thinking we could see a 9.0.1 before then.

Its not like 8.0.1 was an amazing update... Actually viewed as a bad update by most people :D

Issues I've experienced since upgrading to 9.0:

iCloud backup not working/not automatically backing up
Search bar up in status bar at top of the screen when sliding right
Apps not updating
Apps crashing

I know there were other things that happened but can't remember off hand. I'm not the only one experiencing these issues.

November would be a long time without any bug fixes. I doubt they gonna wait that long and release a iOS 9.1 update only between now and then.
