I'm having real issues with both 9.0.2 and 9.1 PB 5 on my iphone 6. More worrying is that my wife is having exactly the same issues on her 5s. Basically seeing battery drain around 50% overnight. I've done all the checks I can think of and have now deleted FB, FB messenger and Instagram to see if these are the culprit. Also, a lot of people have been talking about how FB seems to be bypassing the background app refresh even when disabled.
Are you guys truly getting a significant boost in battery life on your iPhone 6 with iOS 9 compared to 8? Apple says up to an hour. Is there any truth in that? Are you actually seeing any real gains in a typical day of usage compared to before or is it about the same? Thanks! (I'm still on 8.4.1 for performance reasons.)
Are you on the release version of 9.1?It was perfectly fine till beta4. The problem started happening only since beta 5. My iPhone 5 overheats and battery drains fast
Are you on the release version of 9.1?
Odd that people see such differences between versions. Short of major new version updates I rarely see much of a difference in battery life. Each update will give me some better days and some worse days, all averaging out to be more or less about the same.9.0 and 9.0.1 were easily the best for battery life so far as my experience is concerned.
9.0.2 wasn't anywhere near as good and 9.1 is no better.

Everyday is different even if you do the same exact things in the same exact places at the same exact time (which is already fairly impractical for most). Taking things over a longer term and averaging them out is closer to reality essentially. That said, sure, some people might have some fluctuations here or there because of something, but overall it doesn't seem likely that many (in particular smaller) updates are noticeably/meaningfully affecting battery life.I've seen other people comment that 9.0.2 wasn't so great for battery life. If you do a clean install, reset all settings and use the same apps/usage pattern as previously then why should the battery life be any different unless there's an inherent problem with the latest update?

What device?10 hours and 17 minutes of usage and 32 hours standby at 4%. Didn't take screenshot but I should've because I've NEVER seen that with my own eyes. iOS 9.1
