iOS 9.1 doesn't fix false email count

Installed hoping it would clear the ever climbing unread mail in empty junk and deleted folders.
Didn't touch that on iPad...now reading over 200 unread emails in both empty folders.
Did clear the count on iPhone 6, but count just started over from zero.
