Anyone else has still the same bug? Why hasn't Apple fixed that even there was a report on it?

It's not a bug. It shuts off the music because the camera app doesn't know you aren't trying to shoot video with it. You launch it, it shuts off music preemptively.

Swipe up to bring up control center, and hit the play button to unpause your music.

With my 5s it was working flawlessly with 9. And your trick is not working. Fix this Apple!

Tested a few times between beta 4, 5 and now the release. On my iPhone 6 music continues to play when opening the Camera app. (As long as it wasn't on video from the previous open.)

This only seems to happen on the 6s and 6s+ because of Live Photos. (Because Live also uses audio) Even if it's not enabled. So that portion is a bug.

Yes. But they can make stopping the music when hitting the Live Photos button, not before...

Hmmmm I see what you mean now. I finally got it to reproduce the issue. It doesn;t bother me personally, but for your sake, I hope it changes.

For Live Photos it has to happen before. Because it's always recording and uses the 1.5 seconds before you press the shutter. Which also captures audio. It would be silly for it to capture music playing for the first half of a Live Photo.

The only bug is that it turns music off even if Live Photos is disabled prior to launching the Camera app.

A bug that should get reported. But in all honesty, how many people are playing music at the very same time they're using the camera. I've never heard of anyone doing his until last week or so when someone discovered it in beta 5. (Or maybe it was two weeks ago in beta 4)

regarding Live Photos, if the music is on headphones why does it have to stop? the music shouldn't be picked up unless playing very loudly. and if it does a bit so what? the user will learn to pause themselves.

on a speaker I agree it makes sense to pause.

It's very annoying and didn't do this before. It does the same thing if you're listening to an audio book and you go to take a still picture. I can understand it shutting off sound as soon as you select 'video', but not a regular old-fashioned still photo. I haven't updated to 9.1 yet but if it's not fixed, it should have been!

I don't mind the music stops when I take photos, but, please resume it after I've quit the photo app just like when I have finished a phone call! It is silly that I have to resume the music myself.

Good suggestion, would be fantastic if Apple did that in a future update. Here's hoping.

Did you report this? Sometimes people do want music in their videos, like in many a snapchat vid. Sometimes people want to listen to music while they are just shooting photos. Your suggestion to resume after the condition where an app pauses the music is done is a good one.
