iOS 9.1 killed my iPhone

I waited to install 9.1 "upgrade" so any bugs could be worked out. OOPS - didn't wait long wnough.

I am sitting here watching the battery drain on my iPhone 6. Used to get a few days' battery life. Now getting only a few hours - with Nothing turned on. Unplugged phone from charger an hour ago - went from 100% to 75 % battery already.

What can I do to reverse this???

Do you use iCloud services? Try logging out and then back in? As you describe your battery life, it's not normal.

Thanks. Yes - I have iCloud turned on. If I try to turn it off, it tells me that all the stuff I have on iCloud will be deleted. I don't want to delete everything.

Try turning Location Services off. Wait a bit, then turn it back on.

LS is one of the biggest battery hogs around. Services searching for location data. Sometimes it gets stuck on, or an app or service won't release.

If your LS icon is stuck on then this is probably why you are taking a battery hit.

If you re-enable it and it's stuck on again then look through the list of apps/services using it and find the one that is using it currently. You can go from there as to what you want to do - disable LS for that app or service or if possible reinstall/update (if it's an app).

It shows that my Home & Lock Screen is using 41% of my battery! Camera 31% - and camera is not even turned on.

Sounds like you might want to try rebooting, resetting all settings, or restoring as new, in that order, to see if any one of those things might address whatever it is that might be going on with your current t install.

The camera app used to get stuck in the system in my older iPhone 5 causing heating issues and battery drain. I have always made it a point to force quit the camera app after I take any pictures. The camera app also frequently accesses your location - so that is a double blow.

Also try turning of Spotlight Search indexing.

Settings - General - Spotlight Search

Turn off any thing that you dont want showing up when you Spotlight Search.
