It is indeed quite stable if you don't consider the amount of lag it gives.

I'm so new to ios that I can't say if its more or less stable than before, but I definitely don't have any lag.
Supper laggy and stuttering all around for me. Have to hard reset multiple times during the day. Sometimes the lag simply goes away, other is so frustrating that I reset it and be gone with it.
I asks for Apple id password on every reset. Annoying too.

I don't know what you guys term as "lag" but I'm certainly not seeing any.
Stable but lag with iPad mini2 especially related to Spotlight search and showing 3rd party keyboard likes Swype.

Overall iOS9.1 is stable on both iPad mini2 and iPhone 5s and much better then iOS9.0 version but i wish the lag and 3rd party keyboard would be again be as good as in iOS8.3/8.4

Really? I'm on a 128Gb 6 and experience none of this (the extra storage will make no difference), apart from dropping a few frames on the multi-tasking switcher sometimes its very smooth, have you taken it back in for Apple to take a look at? Very far from my experience of 9.1 on the 6.
Edit: returning to thread topic.. 9.1 on 6 is very stable for me.

Seems to be stable and i dont have any lag issues on my iPhone 5 or at least none that i can tell or hamper my use of the phone. iPad 3 is a bit laggy now and then but still fine to use for what i use it for. Occasionally the keyboard will fall behind but i keep going and it catches up.
Hmm, might give it a try, but I'd avoid it as much as possible. Is a company phone, and I have no proof of purchase. I would have to give it back to the IT department, and get a loaner 4s for a few weeks (could be months), until this is sorted out, so I rather deal with the stutters, and hope the next update fixes it.
I might just take it there and see what they can find out.
Right, that could be a pain, I would get Apple to take a look tho if you can, it sounds like a faulty handset to me.
For the most part, a lot more stable on my iphone 6 plus and ipad mini 2 compared to iOS 9.0.2. Both I've did the update (not the restore method of "clean install"). I don't encounter lag from my perception. Apps randomly crash to home a lot less than on iOS 9.0.2.
The only thing that is flaky is Gamecenter as it stops working from time to time on iOS 9.1. But its a lot better than on iOS 9.0.2 where Gamecenter almost never worked or takes forever to load.
That said, last night, I decided to finally do the restore method of clean install as I usually do about once a year or after a few bigger .x version updates.

9.1 is very stable.
If you have gamer eyes or are super sensitive to some animation glitches, you may see some. Having said that, that issue does not cripple or hinder how the OS functions. iOS 9.1 functions real well and is an improvement over iOS 8.
