Error 9006 is usually security software or network issues. >>> https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204770

Try disabling any anti-virus/firewall and/or using a different network.

(The fact it's failing on other sites seems to indicate the issue on your end.)

I am having a lot more trouble than normal as well. I did the update to OS X without issue but I have the same symptoms as you on the iOS update.

Has anybody noticed if this fixes the issue with SMS messages (not imessages) showing as an unknown number on the alert? Been around since the start of iOS 9 I think, can't believe it's not been fixed sooner!

It seems that while there are a few people that experience it's not something that has been widespread. It might even have to do something with some misconfiguration of something or something else going wrong with an update or contacts that might need to be perhaps reloaded. That said, doesn't seem like any specific changes related to that have been mentioned in any of the updates so far.

Cheers dude. Shame it seems isolated. I saw one chap on the Apple forums say that deleting your messages from those contacts fixed it, but I've got my message archived back to when I first got the original iphone, and being one for nostalgia don't really fancy getting rid of them. Will have to keep my eyes peeled for any other solutions.

I hope you get them to resolve this. I am having the problem with a 6s.

ETA: I just updated my iPad and everything worked as it should. The problem definitely seems specific to the 6s/6s+.

I strongly suggest everyone upgrades to iOS 9.3 PB 1 instead of 9.2.1. You won't find any performance improvements on 9.2.1.

So, before anyone starts nagging about lag on 9.2.1, upgrade to 9.3 PB 1.

9.3 PB 1 doesn't feel like a beta to me, although that's completely subjective.
It feels like a beta to me since I can't use my Garmin activity/sleep tracker that I've been able to use on every public release/beta in the past.

Uh, don't be silly and back up your stuff before upgrading.

All I know is my battery is taking a beating on this update wow. 90 min usage and less than 4 hours standby and I'm at 47%. This is really bad and it's so noticeable.

There actually are some speed improvements on 9.2.1 that aren't in 9.3.

9.2.1 or 9.3 PB 1?

Battery life is always bad after an upgrade, man. Give it some time.
