Since upgrading to IOS 9.2.1 my wife’s ( but not my) mail app crashes and will not allow her to read emails nor to reply etc. Mail opens and when she chooses an email it crashes going to the phone’s main screen. We both have 6 pluses. She does soft resets, which used to work temporarily but not now. I did a factory reset and restore: that lasted 12 hours and now the problem is back. I have seen online that others are having problems with this. I’ve tried all the solutions given to no avail. I tried to revert to IOS 9.2 but could not find a signed IPSW file for that.
This is a big, big problem for her as she has to conduct business on the run and depends on this phone.
If I go to an genius bar would they revert it back to 9.2 until Apple fixes this (I hope) and soon (I hope, I hope).
Any suggestion?

Have you tried deleting some or all mail accounts and reading them again?

9.2 isn't being signed anymore, so there's really no way to put that on (even at an Apple store). You can try the latest 9.3 public beta to see if that might resolve it. You can also try another mail app (at least temporarily).

Since it seldom happened on my phone, I went through all her settings and turned off any other app's connections to cellular, locations, etc that I could which were not like my settings and it stopped. There must have been something about how that upgrade managed all apps that chooses it. (Before that, however, I had done a lot of other suggestions buy others that did not work that focused jus on the mail app settings. By now we have a new iOS upgrade di no problems.
Thanks for suggestions
