The jailbreak being released is another story though. Still exciting, as it appears to be untethered.

Exactly, let's see WHEN it is is released. I wouldn't hold my breath!

Probably after Apple releases iOS 10.0 and there is a jailbreak out for it, so that way they don't burn the exploit. Or if Apple manages to patch this exploit before the jailbreak is released on iOS 10.0 with iOS 9.3.5 or a version of iOS 10.0.

But also we have to consider that this guy works for Alibaba as a Security Engineer and may want to sell it.

Who knows.

I'm not sure why you say it seems it is untethered?

Now I don't have the 9.3.3 jb so I can't say for sure but the lack of Cydia prepping files on the startup makes it seem like the last jailbreak without stashing,

In my opinion if this was a true untether he would have shown the app running without a cord plugged in esp. Because the battery shows a full charge. And after opening Cydia he would have turned off the device and restarted to show that the exploiting app didn't need to be ran again for Cydia to work..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems just like the 9.3.3 only he didn't lock the screen for the exploit to inject

As said I don't have any devices with the semi-untether but it sure looks similar from what I've seen online and read about from people using it and troubleshooting problems
