No speed or lagging issues, but 65% of my icloud library disappeared and won't allow me to stream on my devices anymore. I updated my iPhone and didn't notice my cloud movies and music vanished, so I then updated my iPad... afterwhich I was a little confused as to where my movies vanished to. I guess i'll call Apple tomorrow and see if there is some work around to this. I don't have a PC or Mac so I can't do anything there. Last time Apple messed with the iCloud/iTunes purchases many purchased songs vanished and had to be re-purchased. If that happens again I may say some not so nice things to Apple. o_O

That sucks man. Do you have backups elsewhere? I use Google Photos for my photos and have iCloud completely turned off.

I bought 200GB of iCloud, I have them on my mom's PC for the most part (except the videos) as the videos are just too big of files. I don't quite understand the point of paying Apple for iCloud if it doesn't work. :/

Apple really needs to figure out iCloud. They offer 50GB of storage for 99 cents/month yet there is no file system in iOS for your to even copy files up to it. Hell, they don't even have a share sheet "copy to iCloud" option. I've given up on iCloud for now.

I also wish they had an option to copy my notes to a PC, that way I could off-load a ton, then add just the ones I need. I have over 1000 and I am not wanting to manually go through and delete them.
I did contact Apple and even the customer service agent has the same issue, so maybe that might help Apple realize there is a slight problem and the next update will fix it.

Is it really that cheap? Are you kidding me? I need that space i'm gonna buy it right now

Somehow, some way, my problem vanished, and all my iCloud purchases popped back up. I'm going to go ahead and thank tiny Green leprechauns for this one... (It's the only logical way for it to have happened.)

Thank the system itself. This happened to my brother too, it's just some kind of weird delay when setting up fresh versions of iOS on your devices. It solves after a few hours of after a few restarts but i wouldn't call it a bug but an issue on their servers

I agree with you. But I solved it with using workflow. Incredible app and I can now from the share sheet save to iCloud.

I think I tried workflow once and didn't find much value in it. Maybe I'll revisit it.

I felt the same the first time I downloaded it a year or so ago. Tried it again a few weeks ago and now have it running on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Can you give me an example of a useful workflow? I see examples of Gif making (which I don't care for) or shortcut on home screen to dial someone (Which i don't care for)

In short you have to find or make workflows that are useful to you. I have a couple that are useful but I almost never use them. One of them is converting a slowmo video to a regular video so you can send it without issues. I have two for creating reminders when I leave or come home. All I have to input is what and the app adds it to the correct list etc. Use it when I don't or can't use Siri.

I have tip calculator for my watch that will add 10% and then ask how many to split the bill with if you want to. And one that is very specific for me. I share a reminder list with my girlfriend for debts. The workflow will take the amount (say restaurant bill if I chose that from the preset I made with things we usually do) and split it in half and add it to the list with who the debt is for. I do this from my watch in 5 seconds.

Another one is a quick search on maps for things like gas, McDonald etc.

Another that will check my calendar for events with locations and then give directions for the one I pick.

You have to find what works for you and play around a little with the app.

I wish the maps app would open when I connect to car bluetooth in the morning and navigate me to work and do the reverse at night.

You don't get suggestions in Notification center? I understand it's not what you are asking it's not automatic. But it gets the job done. I'm not sure that's possible with workflow. Everything is an action that's need to be initiated by the user. Maybe ifttt could? You can however add workflows to the notifications center to do the same thing as apples suggestions are time based so a little limited. With workflow you can have one navigate home and one navigate to work button. One press and it will open maps and start navigating.

Waze has a today widget for work and home. I don't know why Apple hasn't bothered with this. They added it to the Apple watch glance instead which has me scratching my head.

There's an Android app named llama that lets you do stuff like that. It lets you create events (like monitor connection status to a Bluetooth device and if time is within a ramge) and actions (navigate to work or home).

An example is I use it to back up my phone to my file server using rsync app when 1) the time is between 1am and 6am and 2) connected to my home wifi and 3) my battery is over 75%.
