Hello everyone! Did anyone notice touch id being a bit slower when unlocking the phone? Most times I press the home button to unlock it and I have to wait 1 to 2 seconds. I am using an iPhone 6S Plus, which used to have a touch id with a really fast response.

5S here... actually seems a little faster on iOS9.3b2 than before, and the 5S Touch ID is somewhat slower than 6 or 6S...

I'd say maybe half a second once the screen turns on before it unlocks to the Home Screen.

Maybe try to re-register your finger? Reboot. OR, if still slow then maybe consider a full DFU restore of the firmware.

Yeah it's slower.. And for some reason, it occasionally activates Siri instead.

5S 64gb on 9.3b2

No issues for me... Touch ID to unlock my iPhone 6S Plus is still lightning fast with 9.3 dev preview 2.

Still almost too fast. I hate it when I use the 'wrong' finger when just want to see Notifications.

"Same, my fingers aren't even reading."

Same issues here. My touch id seems to be having issues on 9.3 beta 2. It was fine for the first few days. Now it seems to fail quite frequently. Resets no longer fixing the issue. Hoping beta 3 will resolve it.

Seems the same if not slightly faster on my iPhone 6. One thing I've noticed is that sometimes it does the slide to unlock animation rather than the Touch ID unlock animation which is a little interesting, dun matter to me though.

I still don't see what all the kvetching is about... TouchID works perfectly for me (iPad Mini 4, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5S) on 9.3, beta 2.

As others have stated, on the 6S line with the updated hardware, it's almost too fast...

Touch ID works fine on my iPad Mini 4 Cellular on current beta. But in the last few days my iPhone 6S has refused to unlock at times using Touch ID.

I went into the Touch ID settings and it is registering the correct finger when I test it. It reads it every time and shows flashes the correct finger. However, when I then try to use Touch ID to unlock it refuses to unlock. It does register as having received input but it just doesn't want to unlock.

I've tried hard reset, delete and re-register finger prints and toggling touch id on/off.

Mines been telling me to enter password and then sometimes won't even register until the 3rd finger attempt
