When this is released, the current public beta profile is all I need installed to see the first beta in software update on my iPhone, correct? Did the first developer beta for iOS 9.2 (the one released before the first public beta) require UDID registration? I am just trying to make sure I am ready with the profile installed and, if UDID registration is necessary, my UDID is registered. Thanks all.

NOTE:Now I know it's still "too soon" per a certain mod who keeps going around closing all the iOS 9.3 beta forums (why he can't just leave one of them open at least is beyond me, but I digress). I feel this question is fair to have posted now (although in my opinion if a person desires to open an "iOS 9.9" thread, he or she has that right as it really doesn't bother anyone).

Usually it's a few days between the Dev and public beta release. As long as you've got the beta profile installed it'll install without a hitch.

I realize this, I was referring to installing the developer IPSW before the public beta is released.
Sorry, I read your post in a hurry. Last time I tried, I believe that with iOS 9 or 9.1 first developer betas, there was no problem installing the IPSW via iTunes.

On other topic: why is it "too soon" to speak of iOS 9.3 but not about iPhone 7, iOS 10, the Apple Car?, or about that startup Apple bought in X place to make something we don't know nothing about?

[MOD NOTE]
Stay on topic and this thread won't be closed.

Discussing why other threads were closed or the thread title or what not what will cause the thread to be closed.

If this thread generates a high volume of reports, the work effort to maintain a single thread outweighs its benefit which is why it will get locked.

I removed the posts that were off topic.
