"iOS 9.2 can update automatically between 1:00 and 5:00 while connected to power."

I'm currently running 9.0.1 and don't want to nudge past that until iOS 9 is in AT LEAST as stable of a state as 8.4.1. Apple's already downloaded the 9.2 install file onto my phone since I keep it plugged in over wifi sometimes. I don't mind that, as long as it doesn't install.

Can I stop these daily pop up messages telling me that 9.2 "can update automatically" while I sleep? It's annoying. This seems to be a new feature with iOS 9, as I didn't experience it in 8 or 7 before.

Go to manage storage in general settings where you should be able to find the installer listed among all the other apps you have and delete it from there. That should keep it from promoting you to install and from downloading that update again.

Perfect, thank you!

As for why 9.0.1 over 9.2 -- personally, having used both versions of the OS, I find 9.2 to be more stuttering and laggy in general usage. Not a fan of 9.2 at all. I'll hold out to see what 9.3 or 4 has to offer - or better yet, iOS 10! :)
