Didn't see anyone mention this but its a huge feature for me being a T-Mobile customer and working and living with no coverage into the buildings. Title says it all and I even tested it with my watch to make and receive a wifi call. You will now be able to send and receive calls on iPad, watch, and macs while your phone is on a carrier wifi signal.

I have Verizon and there's no WiFi calling yet. T-Mobile has had it for awhile now I think.
I wasn't referring to them enabling it for all carriers. I meant all other devices besides iPhones. Prior to iOS 9 when you enable wifi calling calls no calls get forwarded to your other devices while on wifi.

I believe he's referring to the older devices like the iPhone 5 on T-Mobile in which case that's a huge plus for those using those devices.

I hate that Verizon doesn't offer this. They said they don't ever plan to add the feature because their coverage is good enough anyway and customers "won't need it."

Screw you Verizon. You are stripping us of all good features, you are now charging us more money with this new plan of yours, and you just don't care.

I so wish T-Mobile had better coverage where I live.

Verizon said they were planning on adding the feature this year. I believe middle of the year was mentioned somewhere, but I think it was more like the second half of the year essentially.

Verizon spokesman confirmed it is coming this year but stated didn't know which phones it will apply to. I guess iPhone 6 and up.

My iPhone 5 doesn't have that option. I heard somewhere that it never will.

Interesting. My iPhone doesn't have the "Add Wifi Calling to other devices" toggle either. Just the option to have other devices ring when they're near the iPhone. I'm on AT&T in the US.

I'm wondering, why is it carrier dependent at all. It really should be available to anyone, just like sms forwarding...

My phone is on AT&T - WiFi calling and had several calls come in. I answered them on my rMBP and it was smooth. No issues. Nice to have a phone when the signal isn't the best indoors.
