Every time I double click home button, multitasking screen will put my most recent used app to the far right edge, with a tiny area for me to tap.
In previous version, I can always tap the most recent used app in just one tap with ease because that app is right in front of me.
Has anyone notice this?

I think this is intended behaviour, and it was the same on iOS 8 (putting the currently used app to the side and the previously used app centered on the screen).

Is that what you mean? Say you're currently using the mail app, double press home button, and mail is pushed to the side and the previously used app is in the centre?

Yes it's the same except now it's all bigger.

Yes. Thats what I mean.
Yesterday I rushed to a nearby Apple store to check what iOS 8 multitasking works. And the result was exactly the same. The only difference was the interface.

Maybe I do need a little bit more time to experience everything i encounter before I come to somewhere and start complaining.

LOL I hope you had another reason to go to the Apple Store! (not that you really need one haha)

Well, as long as iOS 9 is still in beta, I have many reasons to rush to Apple store, to JUST do some functions comparison.
See I today compare Health app between iOS 8 and 9, and compared the message app about "read all" function, and compared spotlight search in calculator function, etc... before today. :D
