I thought they said it was US, UK, NZ or soemthing like that.
What a stupid move. I'll continue using Flipboard.

I use both, Flipboard more often, but I will keep trying News since its integrated and has the potential to take the place of other services. Never know when Flipboard will need to be dropped so I use both for now.

Nope. It is not available in all of the countries. Actually, I guess it is just a feature in the US and the UK will have it with iOS 9.1
:(

Thanks for the reply, buddy.

What a pathetic move!

Why on earth would such a simple thing not be available in the UK?!

I don't like iOS 9.

Even my iPhone 6 doesn't feel too smooth.

My iPad 4 I just hate, now. Really stuttering. I look forward to getting my iPad Pro even more, now. It will be day one for me, and my 12 year old nephew will get my 4.

Take care ...

In the UK, got it on my iPad but not on iPhone 6..?

Where is it on your iPad?

I can't see it anywhere ...

Did you change back to UK (or wherever) afterwards?

And the app remained?

Anyway, Twitter is my "news app" of choice.

Up to the minute, everyone uses it and you can have your say & "argue" your point with others ;-)

US only at this time. 9.1 makes it available in the UK and Australia too. No other countries have been announced yet.

My suggestion: use Flipboard. It is much more powerful, customisable, has a lot more feeds/content and a fantastic UI. News is not that great.

I'm using it on 9.1, not really a fan of it so far as I clearly need to trim my 'likes' down, as the news feed is overpowering in terms of article numbers, often duplicating across sources.

As an aside, 9.1 makes the iPhone 6 much smoother

hate the publishers and laws in different countries for not wanting their articles to be seen by everyone in the world.

I seriously doubt that this is an issue. Apps like Flipboard have existed for years and started small. This has everything to do with Apple needing to curate the content per country/language, which is why they only do it for some countries first.

My experience (and I'm just updating my iPad now to 9) is that devices seem to run slowly for about 24 hours after and upgrade. Just my sense - almost as if they are indexing software. I guess I'll see soon
