Hi
I've been getting a bug lately where I have my notification centre open, and say I get a text come through, then I click it, and instantly get another message, the display just completely freezes then goes off but the phone is still working.
I've done the 'hold home button and power button' trick in the hope that it would work and no luck -- holding the home button is only making Siri say 'sorry, I didn't quite get that' and it's really annoying. I'd rather the phone just do nothing than knowing it's actually active.
I'm running the latest version of iOS 9 on the iPhone 6s Plus (64 GB space grey)
This isn't the first time it has happened but holding the power and home button has worked in the past. This has completely frozen visually but not performance wise. Really annoying.
Has anyone else had this?
Update: the message app is open in the background and I can hear the swoosh noise the phone makes when you get a message. This is so annoying. Why do apple have to be so complicated? If I could simply take the battery out I could sort it, but now I'll have to travel to a damn Apple Store to get them to sort it out and me pay some stupid fee to speak to an apple genius or something stupid.
