I'm thinking about putting the iOS 9 public beta on my iPad 4th gen next month when it comes out. How do you think it will perform? Does anyone have iOS 9 running on one now? Thanks for your time.

You can if you want. Public betas are usually more stable than developer betas. Just remember not to install it on your main device since it could corrupt data any you might need to do a fresh install/reset.

I think I'm going to. My iPad is my secondary device, my iPhone first. So if something happens I won't be too worried. I've just read mixed things right now with people's experiences with iOS 9.
