ios 9 on iphone 6 plus - terrible performance

ever since I upgraded to ios 9 on my 6plus, the phone runs terrible. same with my ipad air 2 - HORRIBLE.

Its slow, apple music locks up. the camera freezes, i've restored from scratch, set up as new phone, I mean what am I missing here. Phone is on 9.1 and all the same issues are happening. Never had this with ios 8

iOS 9 does have stutters from time to time on iPhone 6 and Air 2.Its a known issue.Sadly nothing you can do about it

What you are missing is 9.2. The beta of that runs much better than 9.1. The final version should be released within a couple of weeks (maybe even next week if previous betas are any indication).

Turning on reduced transparency will fix most of it. Looks ugly but runs smoother on my air 2 running 9.2 beta 4

Unless he upgrades to the Pro, his tablet is the the most recent.
