JB'ed my 6+ last night, I did look up which Cydia tweaks I used that wouldn't be compatible so I knew what to expect. I like the search in iOS 9 A LOT. I really miss Activator, which I know (hope) will be updated. and I REALLY miss Auxo 3. Which I can't even find any info on Google if it will be updated. It will absolutely suck if Auxo isn't updated, or it takes a long time. Probably my favorite tweak. Is there an alternate tweak I could use?

Guys, haven't you had problems with teh Cydia icon not being displayed after the JB being reported as successful (and restarts didn't help)? Instead, it kept displaying the Pangue and the WWDC icons.

It happened to me in 70% of my fresh, absolutely clean JB's on my Air2. (I've always restored my Air2 fully instead of applying the JB again.)

Yeah that's a well known issue. When it first reboots and you turn on airplane mode, you have to also open up the photos app before you give the JB permission to access your photos. I messed this up twice before I looked at the reddit support page and saw this caveat, worked like a charm after that.

what's the big deal using a virtual box?

Or, it seems, any other OS X virtualization SW - as I've stated above, I've used 1.0.1 with Parallels 10 to jailbreak at least 10 times both an iPad 2 and an iPad Air 2 and never had any connection / hanging etc. problems.

How come at 90% the app goes back to home screen and doesn't install Cydia on my iPhone?

anybody got a mirror link? i have been trying to download from Pangu all day from 3 different devices and its giving me a time of 3 hours to download. It times out with an error after an hour and my internet connection is fine.

so i downloaded the mirror link from redmondpie.com (pangu9 1.0.1 the latest) downloaded real quick and i launch and now im getting a "runtime error" and it closes the program. what gives?

When I had my 6 Jailbroken, I used the tweak Untrusted Hosts Blocker. When that is updated to ios9, I would use that one ;) Official repo: http://repo.thireus.com

Has Untrusted Hosts Blocker updated yet? Where can I check regularly to see if it is? I don't want to Jailbreak my iPad 4 until this tweak is available. Also, I did a sideload of the GoodNight app, do I need to delete my developer account before I do a Jailbreak? Can I use Win 7 in VM Fusion or does it have to be Win 10? Finally, does F.lux work well with this Jailbreak? Sorry for the 100 questions, but I'm not yet Jailbreak savvy. Thanks.

I couldn't get the official Pangu to download on Windows 7. It wouldn't load. Kept failing, so I used this mirror link from Redmond Pie and it downloaded very fast and completed. JB went smoothly. http://www.redmondpie.com/pangu-9-1.0.1-download-released-for-ios-9.0.2-jailbreak/

I use Minimal Hosts Blocker now instead of Untrusted hosts blocker.

Can I sideload this, instead of Jailbreaking? Is is safe? I have been reading on various sites that many people were having major problems Jailbreaking iOS 9.02. I'm a bit hesitant to Jailbreak because of this. I don't want to spend all day trying to fix my iPad 4.

I'm not familiar with sideloading and I don't have an iPad. All I can say is that the JB on my 6S+ went smoothly. No problems if you follow the directions :D

Okay, thanks. I'm able to follow instructions also

If you're interested, here is how to do sideloading:

Really, quite easy. I just used my iTunes I.D. to create a Developers Account and downloaded Xcode 7 from the App Store.

Uhm. Sideloading, as you might define it, would only be possible after a jailbreak. Even if you could sideload (assuming you could access the file system, which you can't when stock), the stock environment would prevent the code from running because there is no privilege escalation to allow that to happen.

In short, if we could do what you are asking if we can do - there would be no need for jailbreaking.

I don't know much about sideloading since it's fairly new to me. I got the idea from someone on MacRumors suggesting that I do sideloading when I upgrade to iOS 9.02 to get GoodNight, a screen warming app. This was done without Jailbreaking because there was no Jailbreak for iOS 9.02 at the time.

I thought I could get Minimal Host Blocker because it's on GitHub. If you look at this tutorial, in Step 5, all I would have to do is copy the HTTPS and run Xcode 7. I don't know much about the developer so I don't know if I'll try it.

I think Jailbreaking will be around for awhile. Apple just opened up Xcode 7 in iOS 9.

App/tweaks, I didn't know, but thanks for the info. I'm not a programmer.

I haven't had time to JB any of my devices since last year but I just notice that Pangu is charging $20 or am I looking on the wrong page? I noticed that nobody else mentioned it in this thread. I'm sitting on 9.0.2 for now...
