iOS 9 should block Spyware by default

It seems that developers can't resist the money grabs to whitelist certain advertisers. First Peace App gets taken down and now Crystal is going to start whitelising advertisers that pay them money.

IMO, Apple needs to take control and block all Spyware/Trackware by default in Safari. Its just too easy for Google to pay these developers of Apps to whitelist their ads. Let me be clear. I'm not against ads. I'm againt spyware/trackware that spy and record every move you make on the web. I'm okay with seeing non-obnixous ads.

Calling these spyware/trackware scripts ads is misleading. They are not ads. They are massive programs that spy on you and violate your privacy. Just as Apple blocks harmful virus' on Safari they should do the same with spyware/trackware.

It's been happening on computers for decades now, why hasn't this been taken up there to such a degree?

I think the problem is education. Most people don't know that the ads that show up on their iOS devices are also spying and tracking you. Most people don't like ads but they will tolerate it if it isn't too obnoxious.

But most people won't be willing to have someone or something spying on the websites they go to and how long they stay on a site, or how fast they scroll down an article or picture.

These 'ads' should be called what they are: Spyware and trackware. They should be blocked by default.

I didn't mind ads early on but they have gotten to the point where there are more ads than content. Plus gathering all that data. What Google will pay isn't even pocket change compared to what they make front the data

If I have to see ads I'd prefer to see ads in areas I'd be interested in. For example instead of showing me 15 Geico ads how about an ad for a new iPhone case, a new accessory for the iPhone. You know what I mean? things I'd actually consider buying.
