Charged at 100%, went to bed, woke up 8 hours later still at 100%. Never happened to other iOSes before.

Yea battery is good on my 6S+. Nothing to complain about but I have def seen my battery draining faster than it did on 6+. Guess thats from the smaller battery they put in it.

Coming from a 5 my 6S+ is the best battery I've ever seen. 2 days in a charge is nice. Here's hoping to further battery improvements down the road.

Try the same thing only leave it at 50% after you have been using it and report back what percentage you lose. I'm betting it'll be 3-7% for 8 hours standby depending on your settings

All of my iPhone's have been able to hang on 100% until about 35-50 minutes of usage until it hits 99% from a full charge. This isn't anything new.

Edit: sorry didn't mean to sound like a dick. But my iPhone 6 on 8.4.1 can keep on 100% after I unplug too for many hours. And my iPhone 5 and my iPhone 4 before it did the same thing on their respective ios's.

I think it's a scam. I reckon the iOS team deliberately makes the battery report 100% a bit long to make us users feel like the battery level is amazing. Because once it has dropped to 99%, it's free fall to around 70% in under 2 hours on my iPhone 6.

It's pretty much always been like that. Battery percentages are estimates based on voltage and when the battery is fully charged or is almost depleted the voltage differences aren't as sensitive basically so it takes somewhat longer at each of those extremes (usually at least).

Do you have iCloud photo library switched on? That's a big battery killer if it's working in the background trying to sync.

My 6S Plus battery life is unbelievably better than my 6 Plus was. Considering how much faster the 6S Plus is and the fact that Siri is always listening, that's amazing.

This has got to be with a 6+ or 6s+ with nothing left running in the background and with all radios turned off.

Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

I have noticed that low power mode gives me double the stand by time. I've tested this twice in a row now, Using a similar usage pattern on the same days.

the battery meter is not linear. As mentioned, it's always been this way, really. I've seen it behave differently though. But the battery life does seem fine in iOS 9, contrary to my first 2 weeks of experience with it.
