Is anyone else having difficulty changing their voicemail greeting in iOS 9?
The screen to change the voicemail will come up, but all the options except cancel are frozen.

I've tried a reset, toggling cellular data on and off in settings, turning phone off and on to no avail.

I had the exact same issues. I called Apple they had me do a reset of network settings...initially it did not work then some 5 minutes later the options unfroze. Very weird that something that is so rudimentary BROKE

Thanks, but that (network setting reset) did not work for me.
My iPhone 6s Plus will be delivered on Monday so I'll just leave it alone and wait till the new phone arrives.

Switched from my iP6 to a 6s last night. Just checked my voicemail settings when I saw this thread. Mine too has only Cancel as a valid option. All other buttons are dimmed. I'll try a network reset later when I have time.

I will call Apple if the same situation exists after I do a restore (from my 5s back up) and activate my 128 gb 6s Plus when it arrives tomorrow. The network reset did not work for me so there is no point in trying it repeatedly. It's tantamount to doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results ;)

I will also address another IOS 9 related anomaly when I call. There is no audio (beep) when I use Siri. Don't have this same thing with my iPad with IOS 9 installed.

As far as I know the activation beep was removed at 9.0 to make the Siri interaction more seamless. Are you sure the iPad is doing it?

Yep, my iPad is still beeping when I use Siri. Then I won't worry about the "lack of beeping" on my iPhone. I, actually, like the audio feedback and vibration with Siri. That way I know she heard me.

I still have it after the 9.2 update. I cannot change the greeting or record one.

That can be frustrating. I even called Apple and the rep I got was perplexed. I could see that she was going no where (first time I have ever called Apple and hung without a solution) so I politely ended the conversation and hung up.
Days later, my problem went away on it's own. I did nothing to resolve the problem. It just disappeared.

Unfortunately mine has not gone away yet. I have found very little on this. It must not be wide spread.

Even though it didn't work for me you might want to try calling Apple. You may get a different rep who can actually help you. Or, perhaps, stop by the Apple Store and take your device with you. I agree that this is, most likely, not wide spread but it's still frustrating. I hope that yours goes away, as well, in time.

I was having the same problem and I just fixed it by clearing all my old messages out of my deleted folder! Guess the phone had no room to record anything else? Idk... But it worked hope this helps!

iOS 9 removed the audio beep when activating Siri on iPhones. The idea behind it is, if the phone is in your hand and you for example hold down the Home button to activate Siri. It's in your hand, you can just feel the feedback and not require the audio cue. It's less obstrusive to others around you while out in public. iPhones will still beep if you use the hands free "Hey Siri" command (as it's not in your hand typically in situations when needing hands free and not able to feel the vibration feedback.)

To answer why your iPad still beeps at all times. It's because iPads do not have a vibration motor or the new Taptic Engine that iPhones possess.

Reset network settings --> did nothing.
Deleting old VM messages --> fixed it

Not sure if the first worked and I was impatient but deleting Old VM messages after resetting network settings worked for me right away.

That was it! I have voicemail dating back to 2012. Deleted 200 messages and everything started working again.

Same here!!!

I had installed WhoApp yesterday to see how I might like it, and decided to uninstall it. WhoApp uses its own VoiceMail, so when I uninstalled it and couldn't change my greeting, I was ready to blame WhoApp! Thankfully, this thread gave me the correct solution. I just deleted all of my old voicemail messages and everything works now!

Big fan of MacRumors for year...

[doublepost=1472466154][/doublepost]Neither of those options worked for me. Any other suggestions?
