Apple has been trying to prove that iOS is in fact not just a consumption OS but a creation OS. First with iMovie, than with GarageBand, and finally with iPhoto. Do you believe WWDC 2012 will be when Xcode comes to iOS? Or will it be way further in the future? :)

I suppose it's possible, but xcode isn't like any of the others that you mentioned. None of those rely on typing, certainly not to the extent of XCode. If I had to program an App on my iPhone, or even iPad I'd pull my fingernails out first.

Although it may be a possibility with preset codes, I highly doubt Apple would conjure up something like that. It would be too painful having to code something without a physical keyboard and a powerful machine.
