I downloaded a free app for my iPhone called Documents 5 by Readdle. It created a folder in iCloud drive called PDFExpert. In Yosemite it shows a folder icon with a D in it that looks like the Documents 5 App. I think this is a stripped-down app based on PDFExpert. Everywhere else it shows the Red PDFExpert icon - in iCloud Drive on web and in IOS apps document picker.

Since then, I didn't like the App but ended up buying PDFExpert. It still shows the Documents 5 D icon in Yosemite. Other than that everything works.

Does someone else who just installed PDFExpert - what icon does it show in Yosemite? It bugs me the way it is - any ideas how to fix?

Exact same "issue" here. I think this is actually more on Readdle's end. Documents and PDF Expert both hook into the same app folder in iCloud, that way, for constench reasons, documents appear in both. Because of this, I think iCloud Drive gets confused and doesn't know what to name it or what icon to use. But rest assured that both are the same location.

It's kind of like how the folder icons can't make up their mind as to whether they want to use the OS X icons for iWork or the iOS versions. That also happens to me all the time.

Here is my setup now when I look at the document picker in IOS or on Yosemite etc.:

Documents icon in my iPhone
PDF Expert icon in my iPad
Documents icon in Yosemite
Documents icon in iCloud drive
