I can install and download iOS apps on mac laptop? the iOS apps will work smoothly on m1 and m2? i can easily install iOS apps on mac laptop?

Yes and no. The developer of the iOS app has to allow the app to be on the Mac App Store. It is up to the discretion of the app developer to allow or disallow their apps on Macs. The apps will run well when made available but not all are. The developer may not think a given app makes sense on the Mac, perhaps it's an app heavily based on using the back camera of a phone like Pokemon Go, or the developer may just not want to consider the support of Mac users worthwhile, simplifying the process for their support team. But from a technical perspective no extra developer effort is required to make it run, just enabling a checkbox
