How are people finding B2?

If phone calls and Bluetooth are stable, I'll give it a trial on my phones. I know that iPadOS 15 has been amazing on my ipad Mini.

How are you all finding it?

Some people really hate these questions, as a heads up. Yeah it's a beta, yeah of course you take the risk of something borking, yeah yeah yeah. Just answer the question based on your experience if you think it is stable enough yet. I fully realize it could change or what have you. Just say yay or nay based on your experience and that's all I need to hear.

I don't care if someone posts a thread asking this for every beta release. It's a valid question, especially if the answer was no for all previous ones. At any point it could become stable enough to jump on the beta. I'll wait until it is.

I hope someone using 15 beta 2 answers this question seriously. I bought an iPhone X just to test 15 betas since I no longer want to put betas on my only iPhone/main phone. My 12 Pro Max will be staying on 14. But when I got the X last month, I'm liking using it as a wifi only device that I kinda don't want to mess it up with a beta yet. But if the consensus is that it is daily driver-able - I'll put it on there. I'll be watching to see what the responses are and hopefully you will get some helpful answers.

I would honestly wait for the PB1 to launch. Even with the public beta, expect issues but usually by that time, it is "safer."

If you would rather have "No Bugs." Stick with Production(Currently 14.6). Yes, prod builds have bugs but expect an infestation on a beta, haha.

Yeah PB at LEAST says, “We think we sorted out all the biggies, still a few annoying problems left, but the knife jabbing through your palm when disabling dark mode should only happen every other Thursday now”

I've been running both beta1 and beta2 on both my iPhone and iPad. Both versions on both devices have been completely stable for me.

Thanks.

Yeah I'm definitely familiar with the risks of running unfinished software, but just wanted to make sure the current status isn't something like "all calls drop 10 minutes in" or "bluetooth drops every 5 minutes"

I’ve just gone back down to 14.6. My notes app (craft) won’t launch on 15b2; and the online course platform for my part time studies won’t load in safari on ios15. It was pretty stable and it’s a shame to go back but there are definite dealbreakers for some in this round of beta. Only way to find out is to try it (and remember that future betas may make things worse, not better)…

B2 works great for me. B1 was ridiculously laggy for me on my Xs Max (I seem to be alone in this--never noticed any other reports on here of lagginess), but B2 is perfect.
