Hi, I have a question. I just traded in my iphone 7 plus to get an X. Before I did that I backed my 7 up to icloud. However, the issue I have is that my 7 was on the beta program and running the beta 11.2.5. I have signed the X up for the program and updated the phone to the latest beta version. However, if I erase everything to restore from icloud backup, will it erase the beta version and revert back to the release version? or will the iOS Version not change?

Go to settings. General. Reset. Erase all settings and content.

This will remove the beta profile but will remain on the current version of iOS. Once you restore your backup, the profile should restore if it was in the backup. If not, just reinstall it.

Thanks. That answers my question. I was worried it would revert back to the release version when I reset.
