I've adjusted the alarm volume to max but the wake alarm still did not wake me up this morning. I am aware that the sound gradually rises but the max it goes to is still not good enough to wake me LOL.
I am trying the sound called 'Bright-Eyed' tonight. It seems to be louder than the others.
It appears this feature is not suited for you because you are a heavy sleeper. Its meant more for people who wake up to the sound of a pin drop. If I were you, I would use the regular alarm instead of the bedtime alarm. Don't try to squeeze yourself to fit this feature if it doesn't work for you.
if my experience is correct, the bedtime alarm's volume is unaffected by the volume buttons (though you can use the volume buttons when choosing a sound to increase the preview playback). you actually have to adjust the slider on the bedtime screen. I keep my ringer low (like on 2), but moved the slider for the bedtime alarm to about halfway to get an alarm that I wake up to. It's still very quiet...it usually wakes me up after 10 seconds or so.
