just wondering if anyone else had, had a similar issue? I did the original update to the first public beta and had not updated to any of the following beta updates. I now receive a message every morning telling me I need to update my beta software to IOS 9 software that's available. I have a notification showing that I have a software update available but when I go to update it, it gives me the message that my IOS software is up to date.
"IOS 9 software is up to date"
Does anyone know what this could be and how I can update to the latest beta? I have deleted my beta profile and reinstalled and done a soft rest, as well as shutting off and restarting my phone.

Someone else had the same problem yesterday. Only option seems to be to DFU restore to 8.4.1.

Crap, I have tried that. I am unable to restore back to 8.4. I keep getting an error message every time I try.

Select your firmware from the dropdown menu here and click download: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
This will download the official 8.4.1 software file directly from Apple.

Then, open iTunes and plug in your device. Go to the device summary tab.

Hold Option+Click on Restore if you have a Mac, or hold Alt+Click on Restore if you have Windows. A window will pop up allowing you to browse for the file you downloaded...find it and double click it.

Also make sure you have the latest iTunes installed.

I've got this problem on my 4s. Only option is to restore to 8 and then try again? Hrm

Well if it's not picking up the update, I'm not really sure what else there is to do to get back to 8.4.1. If you know where to look and what to do, you can update to beta 5 in iTunes, but we can't give links to that here.

Thanks, it's no worries though. The 4s isn't being used for much. I'll probably deal with getting it sorted when it's out of beta, certainly not worth the effort at this point.
