I participated in the iOS Beta 9 testing with my old IP6. I then bought the new S model with the normal iOS9 software.

I'm still getting updates about the continuing Beta testing. Is this normal to continue to run Beta testing while the regular version is also available. I don't remember this happening with previous Beta testing from a few years ago.

NOTE: I'm using the regular iOS9 with no desire to try this current Beta version.

Where are you getting the updates? Do you have the public beta profile installed on the phone?

No, I don't have the public beta although I did this past summer. I had a problem with it and had to go back to iOS8. From there, I just waited for the regular upgrade to come out in September, but I"m still getting emails about new updates to the beta.

I was just wondering how long this beta program will go on since the "street" edition of iOS 9 came out.

Idle minds...

Well you signed up for the public beta program which is an ongoing program for new versions as they become available, so accordingly you get email updates about it all. There's likely an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or information as to how to get off the public beta program that you can follow.
