iOS devices won't connect to my wifi until I reboot the router

I am having a problem with all my iOS devices with iOS 7 and 8 (iPad Air iOS7, mini iOS7, iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 with iOS 8). Everytime I turn off wifi, or reboot the phone (or tablet), And then turn wifi on again and try to connect to my network, it says "unable to join network" and I have to turn the router off and then turn it on again so I can connect to my wifi. My S5 and note 2 don't have this problem, nor my iPhone 4with iOS 5.1, so I don't think it is related to the router. I already tried forgetting the network, restoring (without using a backup), reset network settings with no chance. Any help?

The make is TP-link, the model number is TL-WR740N

I'd start by updating the firmware (if available) then a factory reset of the router.
