iOS Internal Apps

I do know that Apple has recently removed the internal apps off the Appstore and that some users who were not privileged to get them before-hand want them. I have all of the /free/ ones available for download. (none of the paid ones to avoid piracy and such) They will have to be resigned which requires you to be a developer, most likely. There's other methods, but I won't go into them here.

I am quite new here, but I read the forum rules and this seems as if it's an okay post. If not, please correct me so that I'll know.

Unfortunately price is not a determining factor in Piracy. If Apple doesn't make them available to you, even if they are free, and you download them that is piracy.

Well seeing as you appear to be distributing them, it could mean serious repercussions. Hope you have a good lawyer.

You don't have to until you receive a DMCA request, unlikely that Apple would do so. Are you hosting the files or are you sending them to a fole hosting website such as megaupload?

The files are being hosted on Mediafire.

Errr… no.

Apple have absolutely no requirement to serve a DCMA request. That is only a pre-requisite if the hosting site would claim fair harbor protection as it is not responsible for the user.

Mediafire doesn't have to take them down until it recieves a DCMA request. Apple could sue the OP however, and they'd win, as unlike Mediafire the OP cannot claim that he didn't know what the files were.

The standard steps in litigation, the fact that Apple did not send a reasonable request would be taken against them. In fact, Apple need to show that it had significant losses from the files being posted online. What wouldn't help Apple is that they inadvertently made these files available to the public.
