Hi, all!
I've just moved a couple of hundreds of email messages from an Outlook account I have configured in my iOS Mail app into my iCloud account, also, configure in the iOS Mail app (simply dragged them).
All messages were quickly moved and no issues on the iPhone.
Yet, on iCloud.com, none of the messages is showing up, and also, if I check the Outlook.com, the moved messages on iPhone are still in the Outlook mailboxes.
It seems the iPhone is simply not updating the the correspondent servers (or is taking some time to do it, can't tell).
Anyone had any similar issue?
Any suggestions to force or speed up update?
Right now, if I try to revert moving the messages back to Outlook on iOS Mail app, the Outlook account appeares grayed out, what leads me to think the moving process is stil ongoing...

It's possible that the move is still in progress and hasn't fully synced with the iCloud and Outlook servers yet. You can try force closing the Mail app and reopening it to see if that triggers a sync. If that doesn't work, you can try deleting and re-adding the affected email accounts on your iPhone to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Apple or Microsoft support for further assistance.

If your Outlook account is set up as Exchange you can't move emails TO it from an IMAP account with the iOS Mail app…which is why the Outlook account is grayed out when you try. It's not because of any ongoing process.

I have an Office 365 Exchange account and had it set up as IMAP so that I could move emails to it. Microsoft ended IMAP access for Office 365 so I can no longer use my iPhone to move these messages in that direction.

If this seems to be happening to you, these simple tricks can help get things running smoothly again.

  2. Check that iCloud is working.
  3. Make sure you are properly logged in.
  4. Check dates and time.
  5. Force Sync.
  6. Log out of iCloud and log in again.
  7. Restart your device(s)
  8. Reset your device(s)
