ios malware or have i been hacked?

Just thought i'd like to get this out there, and what u think.

I was on the xvideos website, looking at porn, may have been for an hour or so and after i had finished i noticed that the camera app was open. This isn't the first time that this has happened! I also went to clear my search history and noticed that on 'top hits' was snapfish.com, sonething ive never used in my life. I clicked on the link and from what i now gather, its a website for uploading pics.

Like i say, this isn't the first time ive seen the camera app open in the background after i go to close the safari app!

My iPhone is not jailbroken, and i have the latest ios 10. Could i be the victim of malware? Has my entire photo albums been uploaded without me knowing in the background to this snapfish website?? Has someone been watching my through the camera app or have they used the app to go into the photo albums and retrieve the pics of my phone device?

From what ive heard, ios can not get malware, but from what i experienced, this isn't normal...

Do you ever use the camera? Do you restart the phone sometimes or turn it off and then on at some later point?

I doubt it, but anything could happen.

PS. Only way to be absolutely sure is take a hammer to your phone. Are you up to it?...Yeah, I didn't think so.

I use the camera, rarely. But im a bit OCD with closing my apps on a regular basis!

so yeah, something definately happened, seeing the camera app opened freaked me the f*** out to begin with, and then when i went to clear the history i saw the photo transfering website on top hits... something aint right.

Well i dont really care so much about that. It's more to the fact it looks like someone has tried stealing my photo's from photo album. Nothing to hide but personal business data

Assuming you're not a troll - snapfish.com is a legitimate site for creating photo gifts. Perhaps visit the site to see if an account is still logged in?

Never assume iOS is malware free, or otherwise where would those jailbreak exist in the first place?

That would be free of some sort of a security bug that could be exploited. That doesn't mean there's particular malware out there doing something with devices that haven't been jailbroken.

are you absolutely sure someone else didn't actually use the device itself? like, to snap a dick pic and post to snapfish for you to discover later?

No nobody has had my
Phone. I am now getting messages with scam links. I googled them.

Links like http://goo.gl..... and it says my name in the sms. Looks legitamit. But i didnt click.

The thing is, who over they are have obviously been reading my texts over the last month, as the text i had sent to me was a text from a prescription service, saying i have 6 days to put my order in to the pharmacy. And it included my name at the top of the sms, and the virus link http://goo.gl/...... underneath.

And there was me thinking apple doesnt get any malware?

None of this shows that you have malware or anything like that. People get spam messages all the time. A website you could have opened from some link or ad. Camera also could have been opened at some point by your or someone else perhaps who had access to your phone (or even from the locked screen perhaps, maybe even accidentally for a brief moment). Certainly various more straightforward explanations other than malware or something like that. But to be safe doing a restore without a backup and changing your Apple ID/iCloud password might be worth doing if you are worried.

I agree with this, you should do a complete DFU Restore - set up as new iPhone, don't use any iCloud or iTunes backup and reset your passwords. I would also suggest changing your mobile number and downloading Adguard to block scam stuff from Safari.
