OK, so I plunged in and updated to iOS 8.4 to see the new Apple Music service. I've been using and enjoying iTunes Radio since they introduced that a while ago.

After the update, all of "My Stations" are gone from the main screen. I can still access them through the "recently played" section, but it's very tedious. Also, it's difficult to create a new iTunes Radio Station as you have to search for a song or artist, then hit the "..." where you can the option to Start New Station.

I'm hoping that this is an temporary omission to the software, and not a harbinger of what's to come from the Apple Music app/service. I don't want to pay $10/mo to access radio stations where it had been free/ad-supported previously.

I had also read that iTunes Radio was not going anywhere and would co-exist with Apple Music and Beats1Radio. Maybe that's not reality anymore.

I hope someone can shed some light on the situation.

That's currently the only way to deal with iTunes Radio and I also find it immensely annoying. Playlists could be handled better too, like they were in Beats. Hopefully this is improved upon in the future.

The only way I found to access my old Radio stations was through the recently tab.

As far as I know, iTunes Radio was re-named to Apple Music Radio. Obviously more than just a re-naming happened.

Oh, and how annoying is it, that you can't scroll to the right in all the "recently" sections?
You have to tap on "recently played or added" to see more than the latest three? Seriously?

Yeah, it makes me want to gouge out my eyes ... figuratively speaking.

OK, I guess I'll tell my wife not to update to 8.4

She can't deal with change. I'm regretting jumping in, but the excitement got the best of me.

Don't get me wrong, the rest of it is exciting and I'll deal with the weird radio set up for now. There's just some quirks here and there.

Not only are the changes noted above a pain, I think we're missing the settings for stations... Can I no longer set a station to "discovery"? Can I no longer blacklist songs or artists? I'm wondering if the loss of features is a purposeful attempt to make the subscription more appealing over the free stuff... I suspect so.
