I have thousands of pics in my Recents and today I started cleaning them up by creating folders. For example, I created a folder for my son and wanted to put all his photos in that folder. That was obviously easy, but when I went to delete the other photos from the Recents, it deleted the pics in the newly created folder as well. Any help is much appreciated and thank you in advance.

The “Recent Photos”, and albums are jointed and any album you create is just a list to references the photos in the recents photos.
If you delete a photo from an album, that you create it will not affect other albums, and the photo itself will not be removed from the recents library. But if you delete a photo from the recents library, any references to it in other albums will no longer be valid, so they will be removed.

I think thats a silly way to have it. The point of the folders is to organize and make things neat, why would I want to keep another copy of the picture when I have in the new folder I just created? Oh well! One more question, does making a folder with new pics essentially take up more space MB/GB wise?
