iOS Public Beta Profile Needed?

So I have a public beta profile installed. Will I need it tomorrow after the event in order for me to be able to install the GM? I’m currently sitting on the latest PB..

A developer profile or public beta profile is needed to receive the GM, as it is not a public release.

I would keep it installed until after the GM is released publicly. In the past Apple has issued updated GM candidates between the keynote and general release the following week. Last year, I believe they removed the ability to download the beta profile from the beta.apple.com site after the keynote (though I could be remembering incorrectly, but I think some people had issues with not being able to access the beta profile who just wanted the GM).

The easiest way to think of this is to remember that the GMs are not public releases.
