Hey! My cousin is doing software engineering and he has just completed his 2nd year (4th semester). In semester break he wants to do some short courses related to iOS. Any recommendations will be highly appreciated!

Pick up the iOS Big Nerd Ranch book. If you cousin is already familiar with programming then it shouldn't take long for him to get up to speed!

Big Nerd Ranch is hard to beat. I'd also look at Stanford 193P ios course in iTunesU for free. Also, Ray Wenderlich https://www.raywenderlich.com/.

Maybe google Swift Playgrounds after installing Xcode 7.2 or above.
