Hello all,

I would like to ask if there is a way how to get official information about release dates for new versions of iOS or public beta.

I tried to check possibilities in developer account I have access to, but didn't find anything.

So far by reading this forum I have discovered that new versions are released on Tuesday, but I would like to know if Apple announces the date oficially through some communication channel.

Thank you.

There are almost never any particular announcements about releases. Sometimes there are some general time periods that might come up (like this spring or this fall or something like that), and sometimes some releases are connected to some announcements/events (like WWDC or the typical iPhone announcement), but usually that's more or less it as far as dates or schedules go.

In terms of typical patterns, more often than not releases happen around 10 AM (Cupertino time), and while Tuesday is a fairly common day, Monday and Wednesday are fairly common too, and even Thursday isn't all that uncommon.

Send an email to apple tech support or apple marketing and see what they say. That's the only official channel from where you can get any news.

Do you mean prior to a release or after they have made a release available? They don't say anything at all prior to the actual release of anything (other than maybe during a WWDC or other special event where they might announce it and the new iOS build is available later that week), so you're not going to find a beta schedule or anything like that.

when apple wants, stick around long enough ull be surprised. we had weekend releases before, releases 6 days apart, releases 3 weeks apart (betas).
