IOS Restore question

I'm having several issues with CarPlay and am thinking of restoring my phone as new. What do I lose in doing this vs restoring from a backup? I believe my contacts will still show up, but I would like my ICloud library as well. Those are really the only 2 things I would need.

Those two things will show up. The big thing IMO is that you will have to manually download all your apps and re-enter all the settings in the apps. Plus you lose all the various settings under Settings, including how you have your notifications. Might lose all the Apple Watch configuration and Activity / Health data.

Health data should be ok, as long as you have that on in iCloud settings.

You also lose all your iMessages.
