It seems in every iOS version Apple changes Settings menus for unknown reasons. To me, its confusing, misleading, irritating and unnecessary.

For instance, after multiple searches we finally got an answer on how to update (not change) e-mail passwords for iOS14. Apple has changed how to do this 5 times since iOS 9 - really, why?

Many sites we searched for instructions were wrong because they referenced an older iOS version. Here an excerpt from one that at least listed by iOS version.

------------------------
From the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch main screen, tap:
  • Settings
  • Mail > Accounts (for iOS 14), or
Passwords & Accounts (for iOS 13 or iOS 12), or
Accounts & Passwords (for iOS 11), or
    Mail (for iOS 10), or
Mail, Contacts, Calendars (for iOS 9 and previous versions)
  • (your email address)
------------------------

So, please Apple - make up your mind!

Every time I changed my email password it would pop up a window asking me to enter the password. I didn't have to search for any setting. I'm not sure if it was like that all the way back to iOS 9 though.

Yea, I don't know why they change the locations of some of the settings either. It's like the UI people are thinking. "I've got to keep my job relevant. How do I do that? I know I'll shuffle the settings around."

Then going to the boss and saying, "Ha! See boss! You still need me around!"

The amount of menus and sub menus is getting a bit much. Apple products used to be very user friendly and intuitive. That is slowly dying.
