I'm pretty sure that the WannaCrypt attack takes advantage of security holes in older Windows, such as WinXP. Was patched some time ago in current Windows, so those that have older PCs, and haven't upgraded, or maybe just slow in applying current patches, such as those with a large amount of older systems, like medical facilities in other countries, etc, are particularly at risk.
As far as I have read, macOS, and iOS are not vulnerable, and not affected by that current attack.
Windows only for this fight.

macOS could potentially be infected through Wine (if you have that installed). There seem to be reports from Linux users that confirm this.

It uses a vulnerability in SMB, which means no, iOS will not be affected. Besides, Windows binaries don't run on iOS.

It goes out over the networks and connected shares, usb drives etc.
macOS systems running virtualbox, vmware, etc with infected system who share directories, have the network card enabled , have shares, etc, can potentially risk losing more than the data inside the virtual image. I know there are features that let you share a partition or folder on macOS / vmware, etc. if that data gets encrypted, it's obviously also not usable on the osx side of things.

Those who run virtualized, be aware as well, I guess.
