Good day,
Would anyone know if there are there any quick way to take a picture with iPhone and not upload it automatically to iCloud? For example, taking a shot of a sticker behind a tv for technical thing or anything that you don't need to share onto your other devices. Any way to do this without deactivating iCloud and deleting everything?

Thanks

I think you can just create a new note and use the picture button to store the image there, but i'm not sure if it also saves to the camera roll or not

I was just thinking it would be nice to be able to 'hide' photo albums from the cloud but keep on device to save some space. For example when you have loads of screenshots which are not critical to be backed up and don't need to be in sync. This would leave more space for the important majority such as photos.

However I guess this would break the 'rule' of simplicity and also not encourage upgrading to a bigger iCloud plan.

P.S Attaching image to a note is an option but if you wish to save cloud storage space and not clutter other devices that sync then this is only an option if you turn off iCloud notes.

Just get another app that can take pictures, like Lightroom or Camera+, and keep the pictures in that app.

Also, I should note that if you take a photo and immediately delete it, it won't count towards your iCloud storage. It'll still get uploaded, but you won't even see it, and it'll be gone in 30 days.

I don't even worry about temporary photos anymore; I just take them, use them, delete them, and if they end up knocking around on Apple's servers for a month, so what.

Does camera+ support "live photos"? Or that is only achievable with the built-in app?
