It's been essentially useless since day1. 'Settings' is available even when the phone is locked down, child just goes in to settings, changes the time to 8am and poof screentime disables and they can use the phone all night!

Ugh! Don’t Apple test anything anymore?!

I haven’t had any issues. My daughter isn’t able to do anything on her phone or iPad. I also have our WiFi shut off access to her electronics at the same time Screen Time activates for her.

So.. because your daughter hasn’t bothered to google “how to bypass acreentime” this isn’t a massive issue? Good to know.. for the rest of us with devious teens it is horrid. Especially since it removed the old restrictions I can no longer restrict anything on my sons phone.

Assuming its not a device with cell data, or has a data plan, itll be hard to google something when the wifi has also cut access to the device.

I didn’t say it wasn’t a massive issue, I was just stating that I haven’t had any issues with Screen Time. Trust me my 6.5-year-old is very smart for her age and uses google and Siri looking for things. She’s tried to find out how to turn Screen Time off (searched through her Safari history), but because I cut access to WiFi at restricted times, that aids in Screen Time being effective for us.

Spoken like Someone without kids. This is a huge issue. I am angry they got rid of the restrictions menu and replaced it with something easily bypassed and ignored the problems for 9 betas.

She have service on her phone and iPad, but can’t access WiFi along with Screen Time shutting everything off at 8pm.

This was fixed in one of the last betas Just confirmed on my phone date and time can be changed, but it doesn’t override Screentime restrictions

right, because they will only try once, then never think to look for it again, or google the next time they do have access, or ask their friends at school, or...
