Hi guys, just moved to the iPhone 11 Pro today.
Has anyone found a way to fix the keyboard layout?

I notice the emoji icon and globe icon where you shuffle between languages are separated now. Is there a way to lump the languages and emoji icon together? I have a globe icon on the bottom left of my keyboard now and it’s a bit annoying to just see 1 stray icon there.

would appreciate it if anyone could share a work around for this. Ideally would just like to have the emoji language selection within the other languages under the Globe icon so that there’s “clutter”.

anyone else experiencing this problem too?

thanks

The emoji icon and language switch icon have always been separate buttons as I remember. Before iPhone X, I think they are on the same row, both beside the space bar. Now the language button is on the left at the bottom. I don't think there is a way to merge these two buttons into one in the native iOS keyboard.

I personally do not use emoji. I disable the emoji keyboard so that emoji switch button does not appear in my keyboard. But this is likely not the solution to your issue.

A little off-topic, but...

Can we please get a number row?!! Why is the iPhone keyboard, probably the only one earth, without a number row?

MacBook has a customizable screen at the top above the keys. Why is this so hard? Make it an option!

Swipe is cute but when I get a new phone and need to type in passwords it doesn't help.

It depends on the device. On my iPhone X I didn't have a dedicated emoji button prior to iOS 13 but on my mom's iPhone 8 Plus there was a separate emoji button before iOS 13.

Device and screen size likely have something to do with that.
