Hi! I (and several others) am having a problem with trying to send an email to a group from within my Contacts list.

So, I start from within the iOS Apple Mail app and create a new email.
  1. In the "To:" field I type the name of the group to which I want to send this email.
  2. The list of likely groups (only one in this case) appears in a drop-down dialog box.
  3. I select the group I wish to send the email to.
  4. NOTHING! No email addresses populate the "To:" field.
As a test, I installed the Fastmail app (I use Fastmail as my main email provider/server). While it uses its own Contacts list (which includes the group I want to use) I repeat the steps from above and it works perfectly; the "To:" field is populated with the email addresses of the group members.

I have attached four screen images from my iPad to demonstrate the problem.

This problem seems to have started with the latest iOS14.2 update. Being able to email to groups has always worked in the past.

Any thoughts please? Is it time to ditch Apple Mail and use something more reliable?

Regards,
Peter

Sounds similar to an issue being discussed in another thread (something which is seemingly addressed in iOS 14.3):
