I can do this in 17.6.1 but I have different homepages for different focus modes (work, dnd etc), I have it so that some apps appear in both modes. So for example, I have WhatsApp appearing in both correctly, I added that before upgrading to iOS18.

Onto iOS18 and I wanted to add the Passwords app to both focus mode, I add it to work then switch over to dnd and add it there, but I notice it moves it away from work homepage. Then if I add it back to work, it goes from dnd page.

I used to be able to tap on the icon then "add to home screen" to create a duplicate but now I don't seem to have that and I need to go over to the app library, search for it then drag it to the home page, which then doesn't work in having it on both homepages.

Anyone else seeing this, or user error?

I have had this bug since iOS 18 beta 7. Make sure you report it.

I think it's only with the password app for some reason. I have this bug with this app too, but other apps works fine

did you try just dragging it from the App Library to the desired Home Screen? (that's how I do it on my side)
Nice find! I have always swiped down on my homescreen and searched for the app and then drag and dropped it onto the page I want. This does not allow me to duplicate any apps. If I drag it from the App Library(far right page) then it works for all apps except Passwords app.

Just tested again and it's seemingly only the Passwords app that's affected for me. How do I report it? Previously I had a shortcut which opened the Feedback app, but now it's not working anymore.

This is so annoying. I made a photo/video focus with just one homescreen with my most used camera-related apps. When I add Halide, the app is removed from my general unfocussed homescreens, How am I supposed to do this now. Worked fine in iOS 17.

I sure hope this will be fixed in iOS 18.1

Wait… turns out you have to select or search/select the app from the App Library… and then move it to a homescreen. Don't grab the app from the regular search bar on the homescreen itself. Moving apps from the App Library seems to allow multiple copies of the same app on various homescreens.

Strange, it does work now for me.. 100%
