Well, given the choice I would remove the time in the top left while on the Home Screen.
I like the aesthetic with the widget.
I don’t pay attention to the one in the top left - so I suppose that’s a pet peeve I have with iOS.

Agreed. It would be great if the time in the top left was contextual and only revealed its self when there was no time on the screen. If you look carefully around the OS, it's designed in this way, but it doesn't take into account user placed widgets.

Maybe in iOS 24? 🤣
 
I have 3 different widgets in each area which I scroll through - I really hadn’t thought about how much this would trigger 🤣
