Is it just me or has ios4 stopped you being able to plug iPhone into the USB connection of the camera kit? To take movies and pics off?

I know it used to work because I was so pleased when I realised I could do it and successfully managed to take some pics and movies from my 3GS direct to my iPad

First of all I thought it was just a iPhone 4 thing but then I tried my 3GS and got the same, this is not supported!!!!!
:mad::mad::(

Ignore me.....it's working......I have no idea why both my 3GS and 4 were saying the same thing but all good now,

So exactly how did u get the iPad camera connection kit to work on the iPhone 4?

I, for one, would like to know this as well. It'd be nice if I could use an Apple product instead of my Canon EOS for my camera connection kit.

So far, I've tried the 3GS, iP4 and the iPod nano... none of which have worked. I'm waiting for the camera-rumored touch (just maybe it'll work, if only it actually ends up featuring the specs).

If I understand you correctly, I've done this with both an iPod Touch (3rd gen) and an iPhone 3GS running iOS4.

Little iOS device - charge cable - USB iPad camera connection kit - iPad. Worked a dream. You should have seen my happy little face.
